SU's Institute of Management holds 'Creative Crescendo: A Fusion of Art, Music and Imagination'

Mangaluru, Aug 1: Srinivas University Institute of Management and Commerce Management Forum in collaboration with the Cultural Forum organised a vibrant event titled “Creative Crescendo: A Fusion of Art, Music and Imagination”  between June 19 and July 9.

Various online events were held to encourage and display diverse talents from across India and internationally. Totally, 6 events were organised namely, Melody Masters (solo singing), Melody Mates (group singing), Reel Marketing Showdown, Word Waves (poetry competition), Waste to Wow, Lead Visionaries (pencil sketching) and 40 participants showcased their talent in an enthusiastic way.

Winners of the events:

Melody Masters: First Place: Sayanth B K (student of Institute of Port, Shipping and Logistics Management Srinivas University, Second Place: Nidhi (student of Department of Social Sciences and Humanities Institute of Management and Commerce) Third Place: Bagged by two participants Anjali (Department of Education Srinivas University) and  Rolwyn Moras (student of Father Muller’s College of Allied Health Science) and Highest Viewers: Mohammed Nuzaim (student of Institute of Port, Shipping and Logistics Management Srinivas University)

Melody Mates: First place - Team Amritavarshini, Second Place: Team Rainbow

Reel Marketing Showdown: First place - Saavan Devang (Student of B.Sc in Animation DFM and VFX Srinivas University)

Word Waves: First Place - Mahed Sadia S (student of School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya) Second place: Bagged by two participants Dr S Sriranjani (Professor of Management BGS B-School Bengaluru) and Chaithra Kabbinale (assistant professor, Srinivas University). Third place was bagged by two participants Namratha (student of St Agnes College Autonomous) and Suhas N Kumar (student of Srinivas University Bengaluru) Highest Viewers: Vishnupriya (student of Institute of Port, Shipping and Logistics Management Srinivas University)

Waste to Wow: First Place: Roncita Anisha Dsouza (student of St Agnes College Autonomous)

Lead Visionaries: First Place: Bagged by two participants Dheeraj Kumar and Muhammad Jawad (students of B.Sc Animation DFM and VFX Srinivas University), Second Place: Bagged by two participants Visakh Vimalan (student of Institute of Port, Shipping and Logistics Management Srinivas University) and Amruth (student of BCA Srinivas University), Third Place: Asha (MBA student of St Agnes College Autonomous) and Highest Viewers: Suma Y Harikant (student of Institute of Port, Shipping and Logistics Management Srinivas University)

All the winners were awarded with valuable certificates from the University and also a chance to get an virtual internship opportunity.

The event was organised under the guidance and support of Dr Venkatesh Amin, dean, IMC, HoDs Prof Sharmila S Shetty (B.Com Department) and Prof Shilpa K (BBA Department), and dedicated efforts of the management and cultural forum in-charges Prof Hansel Rego, Prof Yashwini, Prof Archana S and Prof Prathijna K.

Overall, the event was successful in providing a platform for the talents in various fields through its innovative platform and all the talented participants' videos were uploaded in the YouTube channel, The link given below has created an opportunity to showcase each ones' unique skills and talents.
