KSRTC buses collide head-on in Sullia: Minor injuries reported

Sullia, Aug 2: Two KSRTC buses collided head-on at Kidu CPCRI near Bilinele on the state highway between Kadaba and Subramanya on Thursday.

One bus was traveling from Subramanya to Uppinangady, while the other was traveling from Uppinangady to Subramanya. Both drivers and passengers escaped with minor injuries.

Most of the injured were treated as outpatients at the Kadaba community center, while two were admitted as inpatients. The front portions of both vehicles were badly damaged due to the collision's impact.

Traffic was affected for nearly an hour as the buses blocked the road. Kadaba KSRTC traffic controller Venugopal, Kadaba police, and locals managed to move the vehicles to one side of the road, allowing traffic to resume. KSRTC officials visited the injured and inquired about their condition.
