Dharmendra reveals why he loves this special gift from his ‘Gujjar’ friend from Delhi

Mumbai, Aug 3 (IANS): Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra Deol, who was last seen in 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya', recently shared the story behind a cherished gift from one of his close friends.

On Saturday, the actor took to Instagram and shared a picture from his archive, where he can be seen standing in front of an off-road car, feeding calves.

The actor captioned the photo: “Friends, I love this pedigree of cow not only for their milk but also for their beautiful looks. A Gujjar friend from Delhi gifted me the grandmother of these loving babies.”

Earlier, the 'Sholay' actor had shared that he was blessed with a calf, posting a picture from the shelter of his farmhouse.

On the work front, Dharmendra recently made a cameo appearance in the streaming series ‘Showtime', which also stars Emraan Hashmi, Naseeruddin Shah, Mahima Makwana, Mouni Roy, Shriya Saran, and Vijay Raaz.

The series explores the world of Bollywood, production houses, and how they function.

Dharmendra also received positive feedback for his role in the Karan Johar directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', where he played the love interest of Shabana Azmi’s character.

His kissing scene with Shabana's character became a hot topic as the film successfully attracted family audiences despite the global box-office competition from Christopher Nolan’s ‘Oppenheimer’ and Margot Robbie’s ‘Barbie'.

‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ was reportedly made on a budget of Rs 178 crore, including marketing, and went on to collect Rs 357.5 crore worldwide.
