Puttur, Aug 4: A first-year PU student from Uppinangady government PU college passed away due to illness on Saturday.
Mohammed Sirajuddin (17), son of Isaac, is the deceased. He had been suffering from a fever for the past two days and had taken medicine for it.
On August 3, he collapsed while waiting for the bus. Though he was rushed to the hospital, he succumbed on the way.
Sirajuddin was mild-natured and was pursuing religious studies in addition to his college education.
