Mangaluru: St Agnes College organizes 'World of Commerce exhibition

Mangaluru, Aug 7: The UG department of commerce organized ‘Commerce Exhibition’ at St Agnes College (Autonomous), Mangaluru on 7 August 2024. The exhibition centered on the theme 'World of Commerce', which was inaugurated by principal Sr Dr M Venissa AC.

The event showcased the students' enthusiasm and creativity through an impressive array of innovative 22 models and charts. Around 1,600 students from St Agnes CBSE School, St Agnes High School, St Agnes Higher Primary School, staff of St Agnes PU College and St Agnes College (Autonomous) had visited this exhibition.

In addition to the main exhibition, a special green initiative corner featured recycled books, which were sold to raise funds for a charitable cause. This added a meaningful environmental dimension to the event. Overall, the exhibition was a resounding success, offering everyone a deep dive into the diverse and dynamic 'World of Commerce'.

 

The head of department of commerce Vineetha N T, the staff coordinators Nimitha K and Pooja Shetty, student vice-president of commerce Sheryl Sequeira were present.

Derisha Sequeira started off the event by welcoming the gathering and introducing the inaugurator followed by a prayer song led by Alice and Sheryl.
