Mangaluru: Technical talk on human resources practices in industry held at SUIET, Mukka

Mangaluru, Aug 7: A technical talk for the mechanical and civil engineering students was jointly organised by the departments of Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering at Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology, SUIET, Mukka, Mangaluru.

Chief guest of the programme, registered valuer for plant and machinery of IBBI (Insolvency & Bankruptcy Board of India) affiliated to the ministry of corporate affairs, Govt of India; retired deputy general manager of MRPL Mangaluru; chartered engineer, Er H Naresh Ramdas Kini inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

Dr B M Praveen Kumar, director of research, Srinivas University, and incharge dean, SUIET (Mukka) presided over the programme.

Resource person Er Halady Naresh Ramdas Kini delivered a technical talk on the topic "Human Resources Practices in Industry." During the talk, students had good interaction with Er Naresh Ramdas Kini on various good aspects of human resource practices.

Convenor of the programme, Prof Shankarappa Kalgudi delivered the welcome address. Prof Shrinath Rao K introduced the chief guest to the gathering.

Prof Vishwas Shetty, HoD, Mechanical Engineering, delivered the keynote address. Prof Sai Krishna proposed a vote of thanks. Final year engineering student J Suryaprasad steered the programme as master of ceremony.

Prof Raghavendra Baliga, Prof Trivikrama Prabhu, Dr Dhananjaya, Prof P Naveen, president of AIMES (Mechanical Engineering Students Association) Kumari R Tejaswini, secretary, Aaron Jathanna, treasurer, Kumari Nikitha Rachana, sports coordinator Yashas Shetty, president of SRISTICA (Civil Engineering Students Association) Varun N Madhyastha, vice-president Rahul Rajesh Rai, secretary Ratan Ramesh Puthran, treasurer Kumari Karthika T K and other students were present.
