Mangaluru: St Aloysius Gonzaga School celebrates Colours Day

Mangaluru, Aug 10: The kindergarten section of St Aloysius Gonzaga school celebrated Colours Day on August 8. Dr Soundarya Mahalingam, consultant and pediatric allergist at KMC Hospitals, Mangaluru, was the chief guest.

In her address, Dr Soundarya Mahalingam offered valuable advice to parents on the nutritional values of current food habits for children and dispelled common myths about diseases. The principal, Father Melwyn Anil Lobo SJ in his speech, highlighted the intriguing connection between colours and human behaviour.

Tiny tots from Pre-KG to KG-II captivated the audience with a vibrant programme that included a theme song celebrating colours. Furthermore, an impressive display of the students art and craft work on primary and secondary colours was showcased in the hall. The event was attended by the vice-principal and kindergarten coordinator, Aparna Suresh, along with kindergarten parents and teachers.
