Bantwal: Scooter rider seriously injured in collision with bus

Bantwal, Aug 13: A scooter rider was seriously injured when his vehicle was hit by a private bus at Medu Kattattila in Salethur village near Vittal.

The private bus was travelling from Vittal to Kollur via Mangaluru, while the scooter rider was approaching from the opposite direction after refueling at a petrol station in Medu.

The injured rider, Muzzambil (30), a resident of Kattatila, has been admitted to a hospital in Deralakatte.

Vittal police have registered a case.
