Mangaluru, Aug 13: Fr Cyprian Pinto, the parish priest of St Sebastian Church in Permannur, organized a day-long get-together for the members of the church's pastoral parishad and those who work around the church hall.

The group visited several churches where Fr Cyprian Pinto had previously served, including Vamanjoor, Gurpur, Karkala Town, Hirgan, and Loretto. The parishioners at each church warmly welcomed the group, providing breakfast, lunch, and evening coffee and snacks.

After lunch at Hirgan, various entertaining sports were organized. A total of 115 people participated in the get-together. The respective parish priests explained the significant structures that Fr Cyprian Pinto had helped build during his time at those churches. The members were deeply impressed by the love and respect the previous parishes showed towards Fr Cyprian.

Fr Cyprian actively participated in the day's activities, joining in with songs, jokes, sports, dance, and other entertainment. He took full responsibility for organizing and covering the expenses of the get-together.

Arun D’Souza, the vice president of the church, and Jyoti D’Souza, the secretary, expressed their gratitude to Fr Cyprian for arranging such a wonderful event.
