Mangaluru: Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) organises Anti- Ragging week

Mangaluru, Aug 13: The anti-ragging cell of Yenepoya Pharmacy College and Research centre, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) situated in Naringana, Mangalore, arranged the Anti-Ragging week for first-year BPharm, DPharm, Pharm D, and MPharm students on August 12.

The anti-ragging cell committee members, Dr Mohammed Gulzar Ahmed, the principal and the chairperson, Rokeya Sultana, the vice principal, Abdul Rahamanulla, the convener of the anti-ragging cell YPCRC, and anti-ragging cell committee members are there.

The programme chief guest and resource person, Najma Farooq ACP, Traffic Mangalore, gave a discussion on anti-ragging awareness after it opened. The resource person gave informative information about what constitutes ragging, its laws, regulations, and the consequences for those who participate in it.

She also gave detailed information regarding the regulations and policies that. After reviewing all of her material, committee came to a successful end of the first day of anti-ragging week August 2024.
