Mangaluru: St Agnes College organizes history exhibition

Mangaluru, Aug 14: The department of history of St Agnes College (Autonomous), organized history exhibition on August 14.

The occasion displayed a world of visual splendor of the replica of art, architectural monuments, numismatics, epigraphy, sculptures, armaments, ancient civilizations, historical personalities which showcased the students' creativity, enthusiasm and historical consciousness through an impressive array of innovative twenty history models and charts.

The history model exhibition glorifying the past focused on the theme 'Glimpses of World History'. Sr Dr M Venissa AC, the principal inaugurated the exhibition and expressing her views on the significance of history and encouraging the students to enhance their creativity and potential by participating in such events. She emphasized on representing the rich legacy and heritage of our culture and developing into a knowledgeable and humane person.

The exhibition attracted students from St Agnes CBSE School, St Agnes High School, St Agnes Higher Primary School, staff of St Agnes PU College and St Agnes College (Autonomous), and received acclaim from the visitors. This event was coordinated by Dr Meera, HOD of history.
