Kasargod: Udaya Higher Secondary School organises fancy dress competition

Kasargod, Aug 14: Udaya Higher Secondary School, Manjeshwar, organized a special fancy dress competition on August 14 for LKG and UKG students in celebration of Independence Day. The young participants enthusiastically dressed as iconic freedom fighters, bringing history to life with their impressive performances.

The event was graced by the presence of principal Jerald Ivan Crasta and campus director Fr Santhosh D’Souza. In his address, principal Jerald Ivan Crasta emphasized the importance of such events in fostering confidence and nurturing the talents of students. He expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and creativity displayed by the young participants.

The competition witnessed an array of vibrant performances.

The winners in each category were as follows:

UKG category:
1st Prize: Zayan Abdulla
2nd Prize: Fathima Wafiya
3rd Prize: Moideen Suhayil

LKG category:
1st Prize: Rahiman Simak
2nd Prize: Mohammed Samar
3rd Prize: Nafeesathul Fahma

The students were expertly trained by their dedicated teachers, Vijaya D’Souza and Veena D’Souza, whose efforts were instrumental in the success of the event.

The fancy dress competition not only celebrated India's rich history but also provided a platform for the youngest members of the school to shine, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.
