Udupi: Head constable B Vijay Kumar gets presidential service medal

Udupi, Aug 14: B Vijay Kumar, serving as a civil head constable in the DCRB (District Crime Records Bureau) division of the Udupi district police office, has been honoured with the president's service medal.

 

He joined the police department in 1993 and has since served in various positions, including Pannambur, Puttur City, Urwa, Udupi City, Kundapura, Udupi Traffic, Udupi Women's Police Station, and Hiriyadka Police Station.

In 2022, he was also awarded the Chief Minister's Gold Medal for his exemplary service.
