Udupi: Yoga training workshop held at IMJ Institute of Science and Commerce, Moodlakatte

Kundapur, Aug 14: A yoga training programme was organised under the induction programme at IMJ Institute of Science and Commerce, Moodlakatte.

Dr Vijayalakshmi, Doctor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Panchakarma Ayurveda Clinic Kundapura was the resource person of the programme. She explained to the students the importance of yoga and pranayama, the correct steps to do it and its benefits by doing asanas and pranayama. He said that this should not be a one-day training but should be done every day.

Jayasheel Kumar, vice-principal of the institute who presided over the programme said, "Practice of yoga can maintain physical and mental health and will help you to engage yourself in the practice by increasing your concentration efficiency." The programme was compered by Kannada lecturer Revathi.
