Mangaluru: 78th Independence Day celebrations held at Srinivas University

Mangaluru, Aug 15: The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervour and patriotism at the Srinivas University Pandeshwara campus on 15th August 2023.

The esteemed chief guest for the event, Dr Anil Kumar, registrar of Srinivas University, unfurled the national flag. In his address, he emphasized that we are the happiest people because we have the freedom of expression. He urged the next generation to create an economically, technically, and socially developed India, as a tribute to the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.

Dr Ajay Kumar, registrar of development, Srinivas University, Dr Venkatesh Amin, dean, Institute of Management and Commerce, Dr Rajashekar S, dean, Institute of Physiotherapy, Dr Subramanya Bhat, dean Institute of Computer and Information Science, Prof Prashanth Prabhu, dean Institute of Hotel Management & Tourism, faculties and students were present.

Dr Padmanabha B, dean, Institute of Education welcome the gathering, Prof Sagar Srinivas delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Prof Yashaswi Ail.
