Mangaluru: India's 78th Independence Day celebrated at Ian Cares Foundation

Kinnigoli, Aug 15: Ian Cares Foundation's Sarva Dharma Sangama Humanitarian Centre, along with neighboring residents, celebrated India's 78th Independence Day on Thursday, August 15.

At 10 am, Ramesh Poojary, the most recent resident at the centre, hoisted the national flag on behalf of all staff members and neighbors.

Following the flag hoisting ceremony, Hemacharya, managing trustee of Ian Cares Foundation, explained the significance of Ramesh Poojary's role in the event. He stated, "Ramesh has recently overcome his worldly compulsions and challenges, attaining his personal independence. This reflects the true meaning of independence, making him the perfect representative for this occasion."

The program concluded with refreshments served to all attendees.
