Mangaluru: St Aloysius celebrates India's 78th Independence Day

Mangaluru, Aug 16: The staff of St Aloysius Institute of education (BEd college), celebrated India's 78th Independence Day.

Jerome D’Souza (faculty) initiated the event, reflecting on India's significant advancements in different fields since 1947.

Dr Farita Viegas, principal of the college, hoisted the national flag and delivered a speech highlighting the nation's remarkable progress and the need of striving for a future free from conflict, poverty, and injustice.

Santhosh Furtado (faculty), respectfully officiated the flag hoisting.
