Udupi, Aug 16: The Muniyal Group of Institutions celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with great enthusiasm at the Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda Medical Sciences (MIAMS), Manipal.
The event commenced with the hoisting of the national flag by Guruji Suresh J Pai of Shri Mahalasa Narayani Devi Kshetra, Harikhandige. Following the flag hoisting, Guruji Suresh J Pai delivered an inspiring guest speech.
The celebrations included various cultural performances by the students of Muniyal Institute of Ayurveda, showcasing their talents and patriotism.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr M Vijayabhanu Shetty, chairman of Muniyal Group of Institutions, Dr Sathyanarayana Bhat principal of MIAMS, Dr Chandrakanth Bhat PG dean, Dr Shubha M UG dean, Yogeesh Shetty chief administrative officer, along with teaching and non-teaching staff, and hospital personnel.
