Udupi: Matru Mandali Kadiyali holds 40th annual mass Varamahalakshmi puja

Udupi, Aug 17: Under the auspices of Matru Mandali Kadiyali, the 40th year mass Varamahalakshmi puja, mass kumkumarchane was held at Katyayini Mantap on Friday, August 16.

Padigaru Sreenivas Tantry led the pooja rituals. Hundreds of women participated in the kumkumarchane and Varamahalakshmi pooja.

Cooperative union president Jayakar Shetty Indrali was the chief guest for the programme. Vidhushi Sushma Sudarshan, chief manager Padma R, Suprabha Acharya, Geeta Naik were present. Jyoti Pai welcomed the gathering. Bharti Kakkunje read the annual report, Nirmala Pai gave vote of thanks. 

Members and office bearers of various unions were present on the occasion.
