Moodbidri, Aug 17: The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Carmel School on August 14, with a special programme for kindergarten children. The celebration began with a soulful prayer song by the children of LKG-B setting a serene and respectful tone for the day.

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Sr Archana AC the coordinator, who was accompanied by Sr Rosy AC the coordinator. The gathering was warmly welcomed by Tr Reena, who expressed her delight in seeing the young children participating with such energy and patriotism.

The highlight of the day was a vibrant dance performance by the nursery children, which was a beautiful expression of their love for the nation. Their enthusiastic movements and innocent expressions were a true testament to the spirit of freedom and unity that Independence Day symbolizes.

In her address, the guest Sr Archana AC spoke eloquently about the importance of freedom and how the sacrifices of our national heroes have paved the way for the liberties we enjoy today. She encouraged the young minds to cherish these freedoms and grow into responsible citizens who contribute positively to the nation.

Various activities were organized for the students to mark the occasion allowing them to engage creatively while learning about the significance of this historic day. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Tr Sonia who expressed gratitude to everyone who made the celebration memorable.
