Kadaba: Cooperative bank security guard dies of cardiac arrest while on duty

Kadaba, Aug 19: Varadaraja Shetty (45), son of Shivappa Shetty and a resident of Kerekodi, who was working as a security guard at the Alangaru Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society in Koila, passed away while on duty due to a cardiac arrest on August 18.

The deceased is survived by his wife and two sons. He reported for duty at 8 p.m. on August 17 and was scheduled to work until 6 am on August 18. However, on the morning of August 18, locals found him dead, sitting in a chair.

Varadaraja Shetty was transported by ambulance to Kadaba Government Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.

In a complaint filed with the Kadaba police, Manohar Prakash D, CEO of Alangaru Agricultural Society, stated that Varadaraja Shetty likely died due to a health complication.
