Managluru, Aug 19: The much-anticipated Konkani film 'Payann', produced under the banner of Sangeet Ghar Productions, is set for release on September 20. Payann tells the story of a musician’s journey, revealing that true harmony in life requires more than just mastering the art of music. The film, which blends a powerful message with thrilling elements, is expected to make a significant impact on Konkani cinema.

The trailer and audio were officially released on August 18 at Bharat Cinema. Walter Nandalike, a renowned film actor and founder of Daijiworld mass media, had the honor of unveiling the trailer and audio. He praised the film, expressing his excitement and noting that the movie carries an important message alongside its suspenseful storyline. "This film is bound to be a milestone in Konkani cinema," he stated, urging everyone to watch it.

Fr Rocky D'Cunha, president of Konkani Natak Sabha, blessed the occasion, lending his support to the film’s success.

Payann is directed by Joel Pereira, with concept and songs by Melvin Peris. The film stars Brian Sequeira, Jasmine D'Souza, Kate Pereira, Shayna D'Souza, Rainal Sequeira, Leslie Rego, Jerry Rasquinha, Walter Nandalike, Jeevan Vas, Jossie Rego, and others. The technical crew includes V Ramanjaneya on photography, Mevin Joel Pinto on editing, and Roshan D'Souza (Angelore) on music. The film is produced by Neeta Joan Peris.
