Mangaluru, Aug 19: Srinivas University's Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, along with the Department of Interior Design, proudly hosted the Freshers' Day celebration, "PRARAMBH-2024", and the Student Council inaugural function on August 17.

The event was inaugurated by chief guest Vinayak Thorgal, sub-inspector, Mangaluru North, who delivered a valuable address on drug awareness and cybercrime, enlightening the students on these critical issues.

Senior students warmly welcomed the freshers, introducing them to the institution's vibrant community. The programme showcased an array of captivating performances, including energetic dances, highlighting senior and junior students' impressive talent and creativity. The event concluded on a high note, marking a memorable beginning to the new academic year.
