CM, DyCM pay homage on Rajiv Gandhi’s death anniversary, Devaraj Urs remembered

Bengaluru, Aug 20: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar paid homage to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary by garlanding his photo at the State Congress Bhavan on Tuesday.

The two leaders also recalled the services of former Chief Minister Devaraj Urs on the occasion of his birthday.

Senior Congress leaders as well as ministers participated in the function.

Shivakumar, who is also KPCC President, later garlanded the statue of Rajiv Gandhi at Seshadripuram in Bengaluru.
