46th Founding Day celebrated at Bharat Bank Central Office

Mumbai, Aug 22: Bharat Cooperative Bank (Mumbai) Limited, one of the country's prestigious multi-state scheduled cooperative banks, celebrated its 46th Founding Day on Wednesday, August 21, at its central office in Goregaon East.

The bank's executive director Surya Kant Jay Suvarna commenced the event by performing a puja to Brahmasri Narayana Guru and receiving blessings, followed by a cake-cutting ceremony.

In his address to the bank's officers, staff, and well-wishers, Executive Director Surya Kant Jay Suvarna expressed gratitude for the unwavering support of all shareholders, customers, well-wishers, and staff over the past four decades. He urged everyone to continue supporting the bank's growth journey with complete dedication and devotion.

The bank's vice president Somnath B Ameen and director Gangadhar J Poojary extended their best wishes to all the attendees.

Director and former international banker Jayashree M Hejmadi praised Bharat Bank's services, stating that they are on par with private and international banks.

Also present were directors Mohandas G Poojary, managing director and CEO Vidyanand S Karkera, joint managing directors Dinesh B Salian, Vishwanath G Suvarna, and Janardhan M Poojary.
