Mangaluru: Mangala Group felicitates Prof U T Ifthikar Fareed

Mangaluru, Aug 23: A grand programme organized the honour Prof U T Ifthikar Fareed as the chairman of the committee of national commissioner for Allied and Health Care professions Karnataka was held at Ishavasyam auditorium on Tuesday August 20.

In this programme, the founder president of the organization, Dr Ganapathi P, principals of various colleges of the institution, Prof Pratijna Suhasini G R, Prof Subramanya Naik, and Dr Bharat KH were present who were felicitated and honoured.

The founder of the organization, Dr Ganapati P expressed the admiration and respect that Prof U T Ifthikar has for the institution.

Prof U T Ifthikar Fareed who accepted the honor and congratulated the institution and especially praised the success of Mangala Paramedical College which was started first in Mangaluru and expressed pride in Mangala College of Allied Health Sciences which has grown to become the only NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) accredited institution functioning under Rajiv Gandhi Health University. He further advised to collaborate with the national commissioner for Allied and Health Care Professions. He expressed hope that their cooperation will always be there in the progress of Mangala Institute.

In the ceremony Prof Geethalakshmi, CEO of Mangala Hospital, Avinash MA Jayachandra Naik, Rajesh Mali, secretary of Mangala Charitable Trust and Academic Advisor, Dr Moideen Nafseer participated.

Students, teachers and other staff members were present in this programme and paid their respects. The felicitation programme was hosted by lecturer Lorena D'Costa.
