Bantwal, Aug 23: Former minister B Ramanath Rai stated that the government has formed a taluk-level implementation committee for the five Guarantees scheme to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is deprived of the scheme's benefits.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Bantwal Taluk-level Five Guarantees Scheme Implementation Committee office, which took place on Friday, August 23 at the taluk panchayat building in B C Road. He expressed his best wishes for the committee to work responsibly in effectively implementing the government’s ambitious guarantee schemes.
Jayanti Poojary, president of the Five Guarantees Scheme Implementation Committee, inaugurated the office by lighting the lamp. She assured that the remaining guarantee schemes in the taluk would be honestly provided to eligible beneficiaries in a timely manner.
Bharath Mundodi, president of the district committee for the Five Guarantees Scheme, highlighted that the scheme is one of the government's most important initiatives, and the taluk-level committee has been formed to ensure that beneficiaries receive its benefits as intended. He mentioned that the Gruhalakshmi scheme has been successfully implemented at a rate of 93% and that guarantee fairs will be organized at the taluk level in the coming days. He also expressed gratitude to the officials for their cooperation in implementing the guarantee schemes.
The event was attended by Bantwal municipal president B Vasu Poojary, BUDA president Baby Kundar, and prominent figures such as Padmaraj R Poojary, Pius L Rodrigues, Sudeep Kumar Shetty, Chandraprakash Shetty, M S Mohammed, Mallika Shetty, Chandrashekhar Bhandari, Jacintha D’Souza, Abbas Ali, Vasu Poojary, Ashwini Kumar Rai, Sudarshan Jain, Sanjeev Poojary, Mayilappa Salyan, Suresh Kulal Navoor, Shobith Poonja, and members of the Bantwal taluk-level guarantee implementation committee, including Sudhindra Shetty, Mohammed Siraj, M.U. Satish, Muralidhar Y, Vinayakumar, Kanchalakshi, Aida Suresh, Harshan B Pavithra, Chandrashekhar Acharya, Abdul Majeed, Janardhan Sapalya, Krishnappa Poojary, and N Abdul Karim.
Taluk Panchayat EO Sachin Kumar welcomed the attendees and conducted the program.
