Davanagere: St Aloysius International School hosts investiture ceremony of Bunny Movement

Davanagere, Aug 24: St Aloysius International School hosted the investiture ceremony of Bunny Movement, on August 23, a heartwarming event that marked an important milestone in the journey of its kindergarten students.

The ceremony began with a prayer recital by the tiny tots of kindergarten, followed by the inauguration by the chief guest Prabhakar S, secretary, Bharat Scouts and guides, Harihar taluk.

The young bunnies were honoured with bunny aprons, symbolizing their new roles by the chief guest, the director of St Aloysius Institutions, Harihar, Fr Eric Mathias, SJ, Grace Noronha, school advisor, Fr Vinod, SJ, principal, Sr Shanti David, FSI, and Sr Katherine FSI. Bunny aunties, Sharlet Mathias, Keerti Sagar and Sr Malsila were also presented with bunny aprons. Sr Malsila enlightened the gathering on the significance of the bunny movement.

The students showcased their enthusiasm through a mass drill, waving white and pink pompoms in unison. The highlight of the event was the bunny promise, administered by the principal and the little ones pledged, ‘I SHALL TRY TO BE A GOOD CHILD'. 

Then the chief guest, Prabhakar S addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to embody the values of the bunny movement. He also appreciated the efforts put in by the kindergarten teachers in guiding the tiny tots in it. He urged the parents to enrol their children to Cubs and Bulbuls, the next step to the bunny movement. Further he congratulated the school management for introducing the bunny movement in the school, first-of-its-kind in the educational milieu in the Harihar - Davangere area. The principal, Fr Vinod AJ, SJ encouraged the tiny tots and their parents to actively participate in this movement as up the ante, thus becoming better and brighter bunnies.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo session and finally Keerti Sagar, proposed the vote of thanks acknowledging the efforts of everyone involved.

This investiture ceremony marked the beginning of an exciting adventure for the kindergarten students as they embarked on their journey as part of the bunny movement.
