Kasargod: Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre celebrates crystal jubilee

Kasargod, Aug 27: The Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre in Manjeshwara celebrated its crystal jubilee with great fervour and enthusiasm on Aug 26. The momentous occasion marked 15 years of dedicated service to the community.

The day's events commenced with the blessing of a new Grotto of Mother Teresa by Dr Aloysious Paul D'Souza, followed by a solemn Eucharistic celebration.

A formal stage function began, with Dr Aloysious Paul D'Souza, Bishop Emeritus of the Mangalore diocese, as the chief guest. The guest of honour included esteemed individuals from various fields, such as education, social activism, music, and media.

The celebrations also featured a lucky coupon draw, with proceeds supporting the Snehalaya De-addiction Center.
