Kundapur, Aug 28: The NSUI (National Students' Union of India) has strongly condemned the protest organised by the ABVP (Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad) in Kundapur on Wednesday.

NSUI leader Sujan Shetty expressed frustration, accusing the ABVP of staging a show for publicity by raising an issue that was already resolved on August 22.

Karnataka Legislative Assembly Speaker U T Khader had already negotiated with relevant departmental officials and university heads, and the university has agreed to issue physical mark sheets starting from September 4. Despite this, the NSUI claims that the ABVP's continued protest is merely an attempt to gain publicity.

A press conference on August 24 highlighted these concerns, and the issue has also been reported in the media.

NSUI State General Secretary Syed Purkan stated that if the university fails to provide physical mark sheets, the NSUI is committed to protesting alongside the ABVP. However, he added that the NSUI will not tolerate attempts to mislead students.
