Mangaluru, Aug 30: The much-anticipated 'COMCLAVE 2024', an interclass commerce fest was held on August 28 with great enthusiasm showcasing the talents and skills of students across various competitions. The event, organized by the commerce, statistics, and computer science departments was a resounding success, filled with innovation, creativity, and healthy competition.
The day began with an inspiring inauguration, setting the tone for the exciting events that followed. The inaugural was compered by the commerce secretary, Ananya, who kept the audience engaged and ensured the seamless flow of the programme.
The competitions were diverse and challenging, offering something for everyone. The launch It: sale ad competition kicked off the fest, with participants presenting innovative ad campaigns that captivated the judges. This was followed by the brand allure competition, where students demonstrated their ability to craft compelling brand narratives. The intense stress interview then tested participants' ability to think on their feet and respond under pressure.
The brand equity competition showcased the participants' strategic insights into managing and building brand value. This was followed by the flip flop competition, that challenged students to argue both sides of a topic with equal conviction, demonstrating their versatility and quick thinking.
Additionally, the logo luminary competition brought out the creativity in participants as they designed unique and impactful logos that visually communicated the essence of their assigned brands. The level of creativity and thoughtfulness displayed in this competition was truly remarkable.
Reflecting on the event, one participant remarked, "COMCLAVE 2024 was not just a competition; it was a learning experience that pushed us to think creatively and strategically. It truly embodied the spirit of commerce."
Principal Sr Norine D’Souza in her address congratulated the participants and winners, for their enthusiastic involvement. She urged them to keep shining in academics and extracurricular activities in the days to come. Vice principal Sr Janet Sequeira and the faculty members witnessed the event.
The overall championship trophy was garnered by II BEBA/BSBA and the first & second runners up trophy was bagged by II CSBA & I CEBA/SEBA A batch respectively. The fest concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by the college vice president Manvitha. She expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event, from the participants and judges to the organizing committee and volunteers. Her words echoed the collective sentiment of appreciation and camaraderie that marked the day.
COMCLAVE 2024 was indeed a celebration of commerce, creativity, and collaboration, leaving everyone with lasting memories and valuable experiences.
