Kundapur, Aug 30: MP Kota Srinivas Poojary has suggested the introduction of a special train between Madgaon and Vailankanni to accommodate the Christian community from the coastal region who visit Vailankanni in September.
Considering the request made by the Christian community of Kundapur through Ganesh Puthran of the Kundapur Railway Committee, the MP raised the issue in a recent meeting with the Konkan railway managing director. A formal announcement regarding the special train is expected soon.
