Mangaluru: Yenepoya School celebrates annual day 'Yenigma Extravaganza - 2024'

Mangaluru, Aug 30: The annual day celebration of the Yenepoya School, 'Yenigma Extravaganza - 2024' on August 24 at Yendurance was a resplendent spectacle that showcased the multifaceted talents of the students.

The event commenced with a solemn prayer and school anthem. It was subsequently followed by a warm and insightful welcome address delivered by the associate director, Anthony Joseph.

 

The welcome address was followed by a keynote speech delivered by the chief guest, Dr Supriya Hegde Aroor, consultant psychiatrist, Father Muller's Medical College. Her insightful remarks resonated deeply with the audience. Following the chief guest's address, Mishriya Javid, the director of academics & operations, took the stage and delivered a presidential address that was a treasure trove of valuable insights.

The annual report presentation and honouring of toppers formed the highlight of the formal programme, showcasing the achievements of the school and celebrating student excellence.

The formal programme gave way to a vibrant and electric cultural programme. The tiny tots dazzled the audience with their renditions of the Beauty and the Beast, Madagascar, and Aladdin, complete with elaborate costumes, synchronized dance moves and endearing expressions.

Classes 9 and 10 presented a dazzling fashion show and fusion dance that took the audience on a virtual tour of India's diverse states and a merged old and new themes.

The annual day was a resounding success, highlighting the school's commitment to holistic education and the students' dedication to their craft.
