Mangaluru: Shravana Friday draws 25,000 devotees to Kateel temple

Mangaluru, Aug 31: Thousands of devotees visited the Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple in Kateel on the occasion of Shravana Friday on August 30.

The month of Shravana holds special significance in Tulunadu, with women particularly visiting temples dedicated to Goddesses (Devi).

On August 30, more than 25,000 devotees visited the Kateel temple, with 13,000 of them partaking in the Bhojana Prasada.

According to temple sources, there was an increased number of offerings for the Hoovina Pooja and Kumkumarchane services.
