Beltangady, Aug 31: Ujire Anugraha English Medium School children have once again excelled in the football tournament. In the recently concluded departmental taluk level tournament, the students of Anugraha are the winners and are qualified for the district level tournament.
In the primary section, boys team defeated SDM Ujire and emerged as the winners. Girls team won the runners up trophy.
In the high school section both the teams were winners. The boys team in the finals defeated SDM Beltangady and the girls team defeated Divyajyothi Kayarthadka. Sohan KK and Kashvi D Kotian bagged the best goal keeper award.
Mohammad Rihaan and Shreya C N bagged the best striker trophy. The teams were trained under Vasanth and Nischith the physical education teachers. The winners were congratulated by the correspondent, principal and staff.
