Udupi, Aug 31: The department of computer science & engineering at SMVITM organised a guest talk titled "Social Coding" on August 31, specifically aimed at the 3rd semester students.

The event featured Dr Sudarshanmurthy, a distinguished principal researcher at Else Institute, who also serves as the founder and director of the data systems & solutions lab. With a rich background as a teacher, researcher, and technologist, Dr Sudarshanmurthy brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the session.

The session was not only highly engaging but also deeply insightful, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended. Dr Sudarshanmurthy provided an in-depth overview of software engineering, emphasising the critical role it plays in modern technology development.
