Mangaluru: Srinivas University holds cultural fest -2024

Mangaluru, Sep 1: The Srinivas University City Campus in Pandeshwara, was alive with excitement and color as it hosted a magnificent cultural fest on August 31.

This grand event was organized by the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism and the Department of Interior Design, celebrated a decade of success for the Srinivas Tigers and showcased the university's cultural vibrancy.

A highlight of the fest was the 10th-anniversary celebration of the Srinivas Tigers, attendees were treated to a captivating display of traditional culture, including an enthralling performance of Tiruvadira, a dance form from Kerala that added an extra layer of cultural richness to the day’s events.

Adding a flavorful touch to the fest was a delectable array of food prepared by the talented students of the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism. The culinary creations, ranging from savory appetizers to exquisite main courses and desserts, delighted attendees and showcased the impressive skills of the institute’s students. The food not only satisfied hunger but also enhanced the festive atmosphere with its taste and presentation.

The event was graced by several esteemed dignitaries, Institute of Hotel Management and tourism dean Prof Prashanth Prabhu, Institute of Management and Commerce, dean Dr Venkatesh Amin, Institute of Port Shipping and Logistic Management, dean Dr Sonia Noronha, Institute of Physiotherapy, dean Dr Rajasekhar S, Institute of Education dean Dr Padmanabha C H, Institute of Computer Science and Information Science Dean Dr Subramanya Bhat. Their presence underscored the university's commitment to celebrating both its academic achievements and its cultural heritage.
