Udupi: Locals rescue fisherman drifting in sea for 1 hour near Kaup lighthouse

Udupi, Sep 1: A fisherman who was drifting in the sea was rescued by locals near the Kaup lighthouse in Udupi district.

Sachin, who was casting his net for fishing, accidentally fell into the sea.

Locals conducted a continuous search operation for an hour to rescue him.

The operation was led by Sharma, Harish, Balakrishna Kotyan, and Chandrashekhar, who successfully saved the fisherman.
