Mangaluru: Auto-rickshaw driver dies of heart attack while in queue

Mangaluru, Sep 4: A tragic incident occurred at the central railway station auto-rickshaw park in Mangaluru on Tuesday, where an auto-rickshaw driver collapsed and died of a heart attack while waiting in the queue.

The deceased is identified as Iqbal (47), a native of Bajal Vidya Nagar. He was currently residing in a rented house at Borugudde in Adyar Kannur.

Iqbal reportedly experienced chest pain while in the queue at the auto-rickshaw park. Fellow drivers immediately rushed him to the hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival.

He is survived by his wife, three children, and a large extended family.
