Ajman: Gulf Medical University to Start Masters Programmes

Ajman, Nov 18: The vision of Gulf Medical University is to be a leading contributor to the continuous improvement of the nation’s healthcare delivery system through the pursuit of excellence in medical education, biomedical research and healthcare services. The College of Graduate Studies recognizes the importance that graduate education plays in achieving the above goals.

Gulf Medical University offers three Masters programmes (MS CP, MS Tox and MPH) and one Diploma  programme (Dip Tox). The Masters and Diploma programmes of the University have received initial accreditation by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), UAE. The curricula for the courses are based on the general guidelines and norms laid down in the Standards published by the Commission for Academic Accreditation, MOHESR.

The Fall semester for the AY 2011- 2012 commences from Sunday November 20. It is indeed heartwarming to note that all the three Masters programmes have a full intake and has attracted students from the most diverse backgrounds.

Masters in clinical Pathology (MS CP)   -- 03rd batch
Masters in Toxicology (MS Tox)  -- 02nd batch
Masters in Public Health (MPH)  -- 02nd batch

Total intake of students:  15
