Kundapur, Sep 5: Anganwadi workers and assistants were honored on the occasion of Teachers' Day with the support of the Women and Child Welfare Committee.

The program was presided over by Umesh T L, the planning officer of the child development department, who extended his best wishes.

The department supervisor Lalitha and Prabhavati Shetty, vice president of the welfare committee, were present as chief guests at the event.

With the full cooperation of welfare committee president Gunaratna, Anganwadi workers and assistants were honored and felicitated.

Prema welcomed the gathering, Usha K delivered the introductory remarks, Nagrathna proposed a vote of thanks, Vidya Lakshmi compered the event, and Suchitra led the prayer.
