Sullia, Sep 9: A tragic accident occurred on Saturday at Kalbarpe near Peraje on the Mani-Mysuru highway, where a collision between an auto-rickshaw and a scooty resulted in the death of the scooter rider, Naveen (22), son of Bollur Ananda, a resident of Kudrepaya, Chembu village, Kodagu district.
Naveen, who was employed at a garage in Sullia, was on his way home to Kudrepaya after finishing work. He had recently written his ITI exam and was awaiting the results. Reportedly, he had also been selected for a company through campus recruitment. Naveen is survived by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
The Sullia police have registered a case regarding the incident.
