Udupi, Sep 9: Ashwin Sanil, a dedicated fire-fighter from Kurkalu, Kaup, has won the gold medal in the 83 kg weightlifting category at the 15th World Firefighters Games 2024, held in Denmark.
Ashwin’s outstanding performance at this prestigious international event has garnered widespread recognition, bringing honour to the nation, the state of Karnataka, the Udupi fire brigade, and his local community.
His achievement highlights his skill and dedication, making all those associated with him immensely proud.
