Mumbai, Sep 9: Konkani Catholic Association (KCA) of St Francis De Sauls church situated at Central Park of Nallasopara East celebrated Monthi Fest for the year 2024 in a grand manner.
Fr Santhosh Salvi blessed the vegetables and food grains and distributed the same to the devotees gathered. He also blessed pure vegetarian meals that were prepared from the newly harvested crop.
Harry B Cutinho, president of the association compered the event and conveyed the importance of Monti Fest. Members of the committee Roney Pais, Roygton Kakha, Daina Moraes, Lavina D’Souza and Hilda D’Souza were present and coordinated for the success of the event. The programme ended with traditional purified paddy crop meal.
