Bantwal: SP Yatish investigates tragic car crash site after newlywed wife’s death

Bantwal, Sep 9: In a dramatic turn of events on Monday, September 9, in the morning, Superintendent of Police Yatish paid a personal visit to the scene of a tragic car accident involving a newlywed couple.

Anish Krishna and his wife Manasa, residents of Odyadagaya near Pernet, were traveling in their car when it crashed in Talapadi, Bantwal. The accident proved fatal for Manasa, who succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

SP Yatish, treating the incident with utmost seriousness, conducted a thorough inspection at the crash site. His visit aimed to uncover the factors leading to the accident and determine whether road conditions or other elements contributed to the mishap.

During his inspection, SP Yatish gathered crucial information from local police officers and wrote to the Regional Transport Office (RTO), seeking detailed explanation about the causes of the accident. He emphasised the need for clear answers to prevent similar tragedies in the future.

Accompanying SP Yatish were Bantwal DySP Vijayaprasad, police inspectors Ananthapadmanabha, Shivakumar and SI Sutesh, who assisted in the investigation and provided insights into the incident.
