Bengaluru, Sep 10: Konkani Kulvar Association celebrated Monthi Fest at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ulsoor, on September 8.
Veneration of Mother Mary and blessing of New Paddy followed by concelebrated Holy Mass in Konkani by Fr Dominic Sequeira, Fr Maria Louis (parish priest) and Fr Antony Joseph (assistant parish priest), Fr Francis D’Souza and Fr Vivek.
Melodious choir was led by Renny Lobo and music provided by Sunil (Keyboard).
A vote of thanks and honouring priests, members and students who secured highest scores was conducted by Dr Lora Menezes.
Traditional lunch was served to all the members and their families. New paddy and sugar were distributed after lunch.
Dr Ajith Royan, president and George Menezes of Konkani Kulvar thanked all the members for their efforts, support, and contributions in making the event a memorable one.
