MP Raghavendra reviews land acquisition progress for NH 766C in Byndoor

Byndoor, Sep 13: A progress review meeting for the National Highway 766C project, connecting Byndoor to Ranebennur, was held on Tuesday at the Byndoor taluk office under the leadership of MP B Y Raghavendra. The meeting was attended by MLA Gururaj Gantihole, district officials, and senior officers.

During the meeting, MP Raghavendra expressed concerns over the slow pace of the highway construction being carried out by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). He gathered information on the current status of each phase and discussed delays caused by the slow land acquisition process in certain areas.

Raghavendra urged the forest department to expedite their cooperation and avoid further delays. He emphasized that there should be no compromise on the quality of the highway and called for the construction of a high-standard road that would ensure better connectivity for the public. Various departmental officials were present at the review meeting.
