Udupi Diocese Catholic Education Society to celebrate its 10th anniversary, Teacher's Day

Udupi, Sep 11: The Udupi Diocesan Catholic Education Society (CESU) will be celebrating its 10th anniversary and Teacher's Day on September 14, at the St Mary’s English Medium School auditorium, Kannarpadi.

The event will be presided over by vicar general of Udupi Diocese, Msgr Fr Ferdinand Gonsalves. The director of the commissioner’s office for primary education in Bengaluru, Cyprian Montero, will be the chief guest for the occasion.

The guests include Dr Leo Praveen Lasrado, secretary of the Mangalore Diocese Catholic Board of Education; Maruti, deputy director of Udupi District Pre-University Department; and Ganapati K, deputy director of the School Education Department.

During the event, former secretaries of the Mangaluru Catholic Board of Education, Fr Antony Shera and Fr Clement Mascarenhas, will be honoured.

Retired teachers and staff members, award-winning teachers, talented students, and educational institutions with exceptional results will also be felicitated.

Fr Vincent Crasta, secretary of the Udupi Catholic Education society has extended a cordial invitation to all.
