Puttur: Heavy rains damage four houses and two electricity poles

Puttur, Sep 12: The roofs of four houses were damaged, and two electricity poles were uprooted due to heavy rain accompanied by high-velocity winds in Janata Colony, Nelyadi, on Wednesday night.

The damaged houses, located near St George Degree College in Nelyadi, are owned by Aithappa, Isubu, Babu Achari, and Lokesh.

The gram panchayat president and officials from the revenue department visited the site.
