Jassica Simran D’Souza shines at Shaurya International Karate Championship 2024

Mangaluru, Sep 12: Jassica Simran D’Souza, a 12-year-old student of Mount Carmel Central School, has made her mark at the Shaurya International Karate Championship 2024 by securing gold in the kata category and silver in kumite.

The prestigious championship, organized by the Self Defence School of Indian Karate-India and Mangalore Karate Dojo, was held at the Cordel Church ground, Kulshekar, on September 6. Jassica, who trains at the Padavinangady branch of the Institute of Karate and Martial Arts, demonstrated outstanding skills in both events.

Her remarkable achievements were made possible under the training of senior instructor Shivaprasad and with expert guidance from chief instructor Nithin N Suvarna.
